We are delighted with the positive response to our sixth-generation control panel, MytxtNation, and have introduced a few updates in the past week to enhance your use of our key tools.
We have now made it easier to request new services from MytxtNation. Simply visit the “All APIs” page for a clearer directory of all our available services and a new request feature, allowing you to select the mobile billing and messaging services of interest, which then gets shared with our business development teams.
An experienced representative, or your account manager if you have been assigned one, will then discuss the next steps to ensure we are all lined up. Our focus is on getting your services up and running, ensuring your compliance, technical and business needs are met.
You can find the “Request Service” button throughout MytxtNation. Click one or more services, or tell us about any bespoke needs not listed, confirm your email address or those of your partners, and submit. It’s the quickest way to tell us what you need directly from our control panel.
Our brand new Control Panel is now being tested by our teams in preparation for our upcoming public beta release. The current version of our Control Panel, version 5, has done a lot of overtime for us, having been our flagship control panel for several years.
It enabled real time statistics, service configuration, simple setup, and account balance details. We’ve listened carefully to our clients’ feedback and it’s clear we needed to bring it up to date.
The next-generation release, essentially the sixth version of our Control Panel but to be launched under the new “My.txtNation” brand, will be the main hub for your txtNation account, providing blisteringly fast account balance data, traffic activity and precise analytics, thoughtfully and beautifully presented, with great search and filtering tools. Available across web and mobile devices.
This is part of our commitment to providing you with the increased accuracy and advanced reporting we couldn’t always deliver with our current software. Our new home at My.txtNation.com will go a long way to improve visibility and we can’t wait to hear what you think.
An initial beta release should be accessible to you in September.
Our new billing solution mENABLE Widget, which is becoming more and more popular with our clients for its ease-of-use, now provides dynamic pricing tools, allowing websites to send pricepoints to the Widget on-the-fly.
In the past, if you had many different goods or services in your inventory, you would need to use either a different Widget for each item, or a drop-down menu in the Widget, listing all these set prices. This is fine for small inventories, but not useful if you have many services on offer or if prices change regularly or per transaction.
Now, you can use a simple API to send pricing direct to the Widget. This means one Widget on your site and no lengthy drop-down menus to wade through.
The API is also useful if you want to build your own shopping cart or extend an existing one. When a customer buys multiple items from you, the total value of the goods can be sent dynamically to the Widget.
The Widget Dynamic Tools API is available right now and we’re actively working on other APIs to give you better control over the Widget.
We’re delighted to announce the development of a new billing application powered by mENABLE. Code-named the “Widget”, we aim to make it easy to accept SMS, credit card or phone payments through a streamlined, fully-integrated application. We’re calling this approach “plug-and-pay” and it’s going to be hot.
Scheduled for launch in early 2009, the “Widget” is going to bring 3 core billing options to an application that is blissfully easy to add to your web site. We’re working hard to make a billing window that allows your customers to buy products or services with as few steps as possible. On the back of our global infrastructure, we’ve ensured that, wherever your customers live, they can pay quickly and securely: SMS, credit card and IVR phone come as standard.
The small, unassuming “Widget” can be dropped into many different sites. It’s a true billing chameleon: change the size, colour or background image of the application window for true integration with your existing flow, and offer billing internationally in a range of languages, geo-targeted to your market.
