txtNation has finalised a deal with a UK mobile apps development team, responsible for creating mobile apps for restaurants and eateries all over the UK and Ireland.
txtNation is now working with over 500 apps in the marketplace with over 100 developing specifically for high street eateries.
Using txtNation’s Bulk SMS Gateway and Virtual mobile numbers, app developers worldwide can create compelling two-way SMS communications.
The integration allows compete SMS ordering via their mobile site, app or advertisement, built within a full integrated ordering system.
Michael Whelan CEO txtNation, commented “Our virtual numbers enable SMS and voice communications to eateries all over the country. They have proven extremely popular, instead of short codes which can be cost prohibitive for each franchise, as well as being dedicated, serving the functionality of a normal mobile number. If a user wants to order they SMS, if they want a menu they SMS and if they want a receipt they get an SMS.
Working with app developers directly has resulted in SMS functionality built into their apps as well as the eateries other direct channels. The biggest advantage of course, is that users can be ‘off site’ or ‘off app’ to be able to interact with the eatery.”
